PRAYER
...THE RECOGNITION OF A POWER HIGHER THAN ONESELF IS EXALTING...
Be thou humble and the Lord Thy God will lead thee by the hand and give thee answers to thy prayers.
Boyd K. Packer: "Prayer is your personal key to heaven. The lock is on your side of the veil.
Elder Groberg: "How often do we not do more because we pray for wind and none comes? We pray for good things and they don't seem to happen, so we sit and wait and do no more. We should always pray for help, but we should always listen for inspiration and impressions to proceed in ways different from those we may have thought of."
For Strength of Youth: To help you become all that the Lord wants you to become, get on your knees each day and express to Him the desires of your heart. He is the source of all wisdom, and you need His help. He will hear and answer you.

4. Seek Heavenly Fathers guidance and strength in all you do.
5. Remember the needs of others.
6. Seek the guidance of the Holy Ghost so you will know what to include in
your prayers.

I know prayer is a powerful part of the Gospel Plan. I have experienced it in many ways many times. I am grateful for the hardships in my life. God was always been there when I was young, especially when I was alone, scared, or searching for my purpose. He has also stood by me when guilty, blind and insensitive. It is through prayer that I have come to know God my Father and His Son, Jesus Christ. He has literally saved my life through the power of asking and I will forever be grateful. mom
